Very welcome on board!!
You *will* enjoy!
About warming-up .....
I hear contradictory things, but the one that convinces me most is this:
I pull the choke only if it's real cold (less than 6 deg Celsius down to minus 13!)
I then drive off immediately and *very* gently.
The theory being that, at tick-over there is less oil pressure than when you are driving.
Perhaps not enough(?)
This theory has worked for 22'00 Kilometers in 1.5 years on the Savage
and several cars with way over 100'000 KMs.
The one I am most proud of was a Ford Escort RS2000
(The last version with rear-wheel drive) which I drove over 150'000 Km!!!!
I drove this thing every day and also took part in races at weekends.
I only sold her when we discovered that my SO was expecting twins and I thought it was time to grow up a little.
A BIG MISTAKE!
Now I love my Savage as much as I loved my Escort.
I don't know why I'm rambling, but it did me good!

Again, welcome
